CIRCULAR
During the last Departmental coordination
meeting chaired by PCE-cum-Secretary, Roads
& Bridges Department on 19/05/2007, one of
the major concerns shown by him in the
Department was punctuality and attendance.
In order to ensure proper attendance and
punctuality in the Department, it is hereby
directed that following procedure shall be
followed with immediate effect:- |

1. |
Attendance Register of
each Section shall be submitted to the
Branch Head/head of Office by 10.10 a.m. |
| |
|
|
2. |
The delay in the arrival
by the officers and staff after 10.10 a.m.
to 10.30 shall be treated as absent and
should not be allowed to sign the attendance
register. |
| |
|
|
3. |
The excess Casual Leave
applied other than authorized limit of 10
days of calendar year should be treated as
earned leave. |

|
|
4. |
In spit of notice issued
for applying Casual Leave to the extent of
admissibility any excess Casual Leave
availed by a government servant, necessary
action shall be taken as per Sikkim
Government Service Rule and Leave Rules. |

5. |
The office shall be
inspected by the senior officers by 11 a.m.
in the morning and 3.30 in the evening
regularly. Any unauthorized absence from the
office shall be treated as negligence and
disciplinary action should be initiated
against the earning Government Servant. |

6. |
Fortnightly report n
status attendance shall be submitted by
Branch Head/Head of Offices to the
undersigned with suggestive remedial action. |
