NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (3) of Article 166 of the Constituency of India, the Governor of Sikkim is hereby pleased to make the following Rules further to amend the Government of Sikkim (Allocation of Business) Rules, 2004 namely:-

(1) These rules may be called the Government of Sikkim (Allocation of Business) Amendment Rules, 2004.
(2) They shall come into force at once.

In the Government of Sikkim (Allocation of Business) Rules, 2004, in the Second Schedule –
 Under the heading “4, Commerce and Industries Department”, after the serial number (11) and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely:-
 Under the heading “12, Finance, Revenue and Expenditure Department’, serial No. “(14) State Trading Schemes” shall be omitted and the existing numbers 15 to 29 shall be renumbered as 14 to 28 respectively.

4 Restriction of traffic (size, weight and speed) on all motor able roads in the State.
5 Highway, road regulation.
6 Land use control for areas effecting public road and control of ribbon development.
7 Procurement and maintenance of construction materials and stores for Government and public supplies.
8 Control of Rest Houses and its compounds pertaining to Sikkim PWD (Roads & Bridges) only.
9 Department Manual and Accounting Code.
10 Public Services- Statutory Rules of the services with which the Department is concerned
