NOTIFICATION:

 

This is to notify for information of all concerned and the general public that the Hire Charge rates of Road Machinery and Equipment have been revised as under and shall be applicable w.e.f. 1st. Sept.2004.

N.B.

(1) The above Hire Charge is inclusive of operators/drivers wages but exclusive of POL & HSD, which should be borne by the users.

 

(2) Hire Charge for taking machine from Workshop or a particular site to the user’s site and returning to Workshop or a particular site as directed by the concerned Assistant Engineer (Mech.) shall not be chargeable.

 

(3) The contractor or the requisitioner should make his own arrangement for the movement/transportation of machine to and fro.

 

(4) Idle charge at the rate of six (6) hours per day will be chargeable if the machine remains idle due to the carelessness or negligence of the user even after the cautioning by the concerned Assistant Engineer (Mech.) or concerned officers of the department.

 

(5) Period of trial run incase of machine maintenance/repair at the site will not be chargeable subject to the certification by the Junior Engineers/Asstt. Engineers (Mech.) in the Log Book.
